Dawna Durham Is a Buffalo Native known for giving back to the community . She is known for putting together the most extravagant events for those who deserve real recognition. Durham held the first ever Homage awards September 23,2022, an event where she gave recognition to the active business owners in the community. The event featured guest speakers, guest singers and was hosted by yours truly Julian Russell “The Mayor”. Durham says it was her way of showing appreciation to those who are under appreciated. That’s not all Durham has going on for the 716, October 15th, she held Buffalo’s very own Healthcare Ball. The event was to support all essential workers around the community. Durham is the first person in the 716 to host a formal ball for all healthcare workers such as Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Assistants, she didn’t focus on just Nurses. Durham is known for being a selfless individual and her work for the community has not gone unnoticed. Durham is also apart of Bringing the 716 it’s very own “Wild-N-Out” .There is much more to come from Durham, although she can’t give it all away now we know she has more in store for the 716.
