1 on 1 with Saundra Adams for the premiere of “The Come Up”
716 Live Presents: 1-on-1 with Saundra Adams for the premiere of “The Come Up.”
“The Come Up”, written and directed by entrepreneur, Dave Stanfield, brought the town out for its debut and red-carpet event on December 10 at the North Park Theater.
This movie showcases talented actors and actresses right here in the city while giving a glimpse of Buffalo’s beauty, structure, and architecture.
Stanfield, talked about how important it is to give the talent here a place to shine and be seen, but also to represent what Buffalo is, which is often looked over by many, but this is further proof that Buffalo is full of gems and jewels.
So, what better way to share his dream, than on the big screen?
The movie was shot, produced, and curated on city streets. Homegrown, you can say, and to tie it up, what’s better than a locally owned theater, as well as giving local entrepreneur’s a place to share their products, as folks piled into The North Park Theater and packed the concession stand to show their support.
Stanfield fostered a dream, that took a few years and his own funding, and it showed the grit, passion, dedication, and support that you can get right here and that speaks volumes, not only from him but this community, each and every cast member, down to every single person that contributed to making this film.
As much as 716 Live, would love to hit a spoiler alert, you’ll have to check it out again, but this time on Friday, January 13 at the Dipson Theater at 9 p.m., starring Drip Sanchez, Jrey Cash, Michelle Visa, Autumn Parker, and Dennis Wilson Jr. #TheComeUp
